Mitigation Activities Outside Ghana’s NDC
Any mitigation activity that falls outside the scope of Ghana’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) may be eligible to create authorised and transferable only if:

1. the related activity is covered by the latest National Greenhouse Gas Inventory of Ghana prepared under the applicable Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Guidelines; and
2. agreed upon the Participating Acquiring Party.

The related activity must lead to GHG emission reductions and removals, GHG mitigation co-benefits of adaptation actions activities; and must have economic diversification plans and means to achieve them.
